TERMS AND USES

  • Driving a boat is prohibited for persons under the age of 18.
  • The consumption of alcohol by the lessee before and during the lease is expressly prohibited.
  • A boat driving license is only required to rent a boat over 30hp.
  • The owner is not responsible for the operation of the boat during the rental period. The lessee is solely responsible for handling.
  • In case of loss or destruction of personal belongings of the lessee and the passengers of the boat, the owner bears no responsibility. In case of damage to the boat or loss and damage to the equipment, the renter is charged.
  • The boat is insured for accidents with mixed insurance.
  • The lessee must make safe use of the boat and is responsible for the safety of themselves and the passengers, as well as for the use of safety equipment provided by the owner.
  • The maximum allowed distance from the shore is 100-150 meters (without skipper).

OPENING HOURS – INSTRUCTIONS – PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • On the day of the rental you must bring your ID or passport or driver’s license with you.
  • To rent the boat, a contract is signed, in which the necessary general conditions and the value of the equipment are mentioned.
  • During chartering, depending on the type of vessel, you must bring on board the license to operate vessels and the operator’s competence to be shown to the Port Authorities in case of request.
  • Upon arrival at the pre-arranged boat pick-up point you will be asked to sign all the necessary documents for the boat rental as well as settle any financial outstandings.
  • Upon receipt, a detailed demonstration of the boat and equipment is made, while a declaration of acceptance of the boat and a list of the equipment it carries are given for signature. Also, a detailed briefing is given on the safety procedures and information is given on the use of the boat and the documents/permits given to you.
  • Before the boat starts a check must be made by the renter that the equipment mentioned in the rental agreement he has signed is in perfect condition and thus must be returned.
  • In case the lessee faces any problem with the sailing of the boat, he is obliged to inform the rental company immediately. In the event of an accident, the lessee must remain at the scene while simultaneously calling the company and the qualified authorities.
  • A deposit is required to rent a boat. All payments can be made by cash, credit/debit card, PayPal or bank deposit. No other payment method is accepted.
  • It is possible to offer a new cruise date or refund in case of cancellation due to weather conditions or vessel damage.
  • In case of untimely arrival without notification, the lessee shall be charged the entire advance payment.
  • No refund is provided in case of early return of the boat.
  • The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made 10 days before the reservation.
  • It is forbidden to use the boat after sunset.

LESSEE OBLIGATIONS – ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • The vessel must be returned by the charterer in the condition it was in when received.
  • There is an additional charge, in case of delay in returning the boat beyond the agreed time, unless this is due to damage to the boat.
  • We bear no responsibility for any mechanical or other damages caused by your fault to the vessel during the charter as well as for the loss of part or all of the equipment on the vessel upon receipt.
  • The company will be compensated by the lessee in case of any damage caused to the boat and its equipment by them, due to its misuse by the passengers.
  • The fuel is enough for the local destinations of the excursion. The company bears no responsibility if the fuel runs out because the lessee exceeded the agreed excursion area. Upon delivery of the vessel by the lessee, they must pay for the cost of the extra fuel from the proposed routes.
  • The return to the boat’s delivery point is at the pre-arranged time. Upon delivery, the condition of the boat and its equipment is checked.
